Haroon Mahmood, Chairman MiNC Group
The Chairman of MiNC group of companies and the CEO for Dubai operations. Haroon worked as a senior Consultant for Anderson Consulting (Accenture) and for ten years in Mars Group. He is an aeronautical engineer from Imperial College London and is currently spearheading MiNC's growth agenda.
Kamran Mahmood, CEO MiNC Group
Chief Executive Officer for UK operations, Kamran is a certified Accountant by training and worked for eight years in various financial institutions in the City of London. Kamran assumed responsibility for his family's property business in UK in 1993 and founded MiNC property Enterprises in 1999. He is currently based in London office and is primarily responsible for property procurement and sales.
Anita Purvis, Managing Director, London
Anita Purvis studied business management, law and trained as a solicitor. She spent 10 years of her career working in Senior Investment Banking roles focusing on Real Estate Structured Finance. She was a Director of Real Estate Structured Finance at Barclays Capital and following this undertook a variety of senior leadership roles within the Barclays Group . The last 3 years she was a main board director for a real estate and hotel investment company managing a team who successfully sold £200M of hotel investments
Dr John Wilson, Deputy Chairman
John Wilson spent 25 years with the Ladbroke Group plc in a number of senior roles. John was President of Rodeway Inns International, responsible for 160 franchised and managed hotels. Following the acquisition of Hilton International by Ladbroke, John became COO and Senior Executive - VP of Hilton International, responsible for 200 hotels worldwide. In 1998 John became CEO of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels plc. John is currently an Executive Director of Dedeman Hotels - the largest hotel company in Turkey. He is a member of the National Advisory Board of the University of Nevada. In addition to being a Fellow of the Institute of Hospitality, John was awarded an honorary Doctorate by the Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, for his contribution to the international hospitality business.
Jim Souter , Regional Director, MiNC Apartments
In 1995 Jim joined Heritage-Forte Hotels in UK as Operations Manager-UK. He remained with Heritage for 6 years holding positions of General and Regional Manager. Jim then joined Millennium & Copthorne Hotels as Area General Manager covering London & Gatwick. Prior to moving to Dubai, Jim was most recently Regional Manager with a major hotel & conference venues operations company in the U.K.
